Money in its day-to-day utility is tangible, used for transactions like bill payments and purchases, which allows us to grasp its value on a human scale.

Wealth, however, ventures beyond immediate necessities or comprehensible amounts, entering a sphere where its vastness challenges our conventional understanding.

Wealth's complexity becomes a bit more apparent when attempting to quantify its impact on our lives.

Despite knowing the numbers—family worth, personal net worth, or the valuation of a family enterprise—the sheer magnitude of these figures often renders them abstract in our minds, evoking a spectrum of feelings from empowerment to overwhelming burden.

This dichotomy is especially palpable among next gen and inheritors.

The precision of financial figures belies their intangible nature, with efforts to make sense of one's wealth sometimes feeling like an exercise in futility.

For many of the next gen/rising gen, the everyday use of money might seem pretty straightforward, yet the broader concept of their wealth remains elusive, sometimes even fostering a stressful relationship.

It's not uncommon for inheritors to navigate challenges in both their daily financial dealings and their broader perspective on wealth.

When addressing these complexities with my clientele, the focus initially shifts away from the overarching notion of wealth to discover and deconstruct their money relationship more closely.

This examination spans their attitudes towards money, the actions these beliefs incite, and the patterns emerging from these behaviors.
